Something changed today and I hope (pretty sure) that's it's a positive. Obtained full licence in July and have been getting as many miles under my belt as possible. Only ride for pleasure. Went out for a few hours alone today and things were just all round lighter and more relaxed. By lighter I mean not only the grip but the arms, legs, backside! Cornering especially at large roundabouts was a lot more fluid and although aware of the damp conditions I felt a lot more 'lean' and a lot less steer. My question is, have I reached point that some experience brings or am I getting ahead of myself? The level of lean was a lot more than I've been comfortable with before but I suppose tyres are there to be used.

Sounds like your confidence went up a notch today....nice one... 8-) If you felt comfortable with the ride and there were no scary moments then I think you were not getting ahead of yourself.....just riding like you should.....enjoy it..... 8-)

I get that too sometimes!! Next day could be as good, or could be back to the day before!! On the whole it gets better and I'm defo a better rider than I was 6 months ago. Enjoy the feeling and I hope tomorrow's a good day too.
