DeltaLima Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 So I'm looking for some good jeans. My requirements are simple:Option for padding (either inserts or built-in)Don't look like they're from Primark (i.e. - tailored well). I normally wear slim-fit jeans. I'm not expecting to find any, obviously - they wouldn't be practical. But I want to find something that doesn't make me look like I'm a kid wearing my dads clothes. DL Quote

Tango Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Look on the site mate....there's pics of jeans where guys have had an off at 70mph........and the para-aramid lining has not gone through...... The thing with the Hood jeans is the amount of coverage of the para-aramid lining.....some bike jeans only have small areas of Kevlar....whereas the Hood jeans have most of the jeans lined with the protective material..... I think the jeans look OK too......but obviously you can see the armoured areas.....but it's not as obvious as some other biking jeans...... I'm really pleased with mine........great for summer riding......but they are obviously lined, so they will get a bit hotter than non-lined jeans when you're walking about...... Quote
