coldphoenix1 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 literally just putting a picture of my bike here to show people... i'm genuinely considering marrying her unless i can find something that looks exactly like this but has the engine of a honda cbf 600... does anybody have a friend? Quote
klingelton Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 i had one of those for my first real bike (i.e. not one that was a bag of spanners). great bike. Quote
Ricky Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 I had one of these in the exact colour for my hire bike Cool bike but I just didn't feel safe on it because of the tires Quote

coldphoenix1 Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 O.o The tyres? Do they put bad tyres on the 125s?? Quote
klingelton Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Skinny little tyres, you get a surprising amount of grip from them. You can really throw this little bike around the road! Quote
Ricky Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I meant the tires was to skinny for my liking, I'm sure they're fine Quote
CGD217 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 The tires are skinny but i never had a problem. I was concerned about how skinny but it handled everything with ease. Quote
Ian_1986 Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 I done my cbt on a ybr and had a few lessons before going on to the 600. Couldn't fault it. Quote
Ricky Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Guys, I never said their is anything wrong with them but I opted for a bike which I felt safer on. Quote
coldphoenix1 Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Cool, I actually love the way it looks... but it's getting a little too small for me now And compared to the 600 I'm learning on it is a little fumbly,I keep wanting to get a 600 but I only potter to work and back so can't really justify a bigger bike...Does anybody know of a bike that rides exactly like a Honda CBF 600 but looks like a Yamaha YBR 125? Because the bike big I'm learning on is a much better ride than this but it does't look as good, and I'm quite a shallow person Quote
CGD217 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 As tango has said the fz6 which is the naked fazer it's meant to be a real good bike Quote
coldphoenix1 Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 *looking at pictures* Actually it looks pretty nice Do they still make these though? I was thinking of getting another new bike on finance, mine's paid off in October and I'm debating whether to part exchange it or sell privately... Everyone keeps telling me I'll get more money if I sell it myself but part exchanging is so much less hassle, especially if I'm buying a new one...Maybe nearer the time I should just ride up to a Yamaha dealer and see what they've got. The website has a new Fazer 800... Is there much difference in handling between a 600 and an 800 bike? *total newbie with big bikes* Quote
