Passed my theory test yesterday - I used the driving test success app on my phone to revise and it might help others to know that 90% of the actual test was covered in the app.

Mod 1 & 2 are booked for later in the month then all being well, I'll be able to get the R6 out of it's current home (garage). Can't wait!

I feel a bit lucky having access to the bike at the moment because I can practice clutch control and slow riding (I figure if I can control that, then the CB500 the training company uses should be a doddle).

I'm doing a 3.5 day DAS starting this weekend, then Mod 1 on the 23rd. Very excited!

Just wanted to share my enthusiasm

Good luck to you!

I panicked a little on my theory, it seemed hardly any of the questions from the app were in the test. I was after questions about tooting old grannies off a ped crossing or revving to chivvy up parents with toddlers and I'm finding questions about riding on soft tarmac.

Well, I wish you all the best of luck.

Just don't worry yourself about it too much though.

Remember, they are just checking that you can ride safely and make progress, if you can show that, you`ll pass.

Though, I am not sure what happens on these new modules dewbry. Though, if you can ride, you`ll pass.

Bet you cant wait to get out on that R6?

Great bikes, love to rev and love to wheelie.

I can't wait! No interest in wheelies whatsoever but I do enjoy a bit of speed here and there (my last car was a subaru ;)

I'm looking forward to seeing how I can control a CB500 at slow speeds and how it compares to a smaller bike, the riding part (MOD2) I'm 95% confident in, I guess after I start my training this weekend I'll have a better idea of the slow and controlled stuff.

It's all exciting and everything is ready for me to get out there - clothing, helmet, security and even a pillion to rider / rider to rider coms kit haha.

My plan is to remember everything I have been taught or learned as a driver - be confident but safe.

Thanks folks.

Theory Test and Hazard Perception Test are pretty straight forward. One of the apps is great for theory side of it. I got 50/50 and 61/75 respectively.

The Mod 1 is definitely the trickier of the two modules but if you have good control and ability it shouldn't give you many problems but a very very simple mistake or lapse of concentration can end in a fail within a heartbeat.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Haha I think the R6 will make your old scobby seem extremely slow.
