Theory test for the bike?

Recommended Posts

I never did a theory test for the car as I passed 20 years ago, before such a thing existed.

During lunch I was chatting with a colleague who is of a similar age. He did DAS or similar some years ago, and never did a theory test, despite their being one.

I was saying I need to do theory and he was questioning it.

Currently on a CBT and 125.

Reading around, I think I am right. But I don't want to spend money on it if I don't need to

Yup, I've been driving 21 years and have decided to get into motorbikes. Did CBT 3 weeks ago, theory test 2 weeks ago and have full licence booked in. I found a couple of iPhone apps massively helpful (prob avail on Android too). If you are a smartphone person let me know and I can post or PM them (no vested interest in these apps I just found that they made prepping and passing a doddle).

The Camrider Theory app (paid version) is all you need for the theory side of things. You also get some hazard perception clips but they are not the best quality. There are quite a few free clips dotted around the interweb that will help too.
