Tango Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Welcome to TMBF mate......pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can.... Dunno about this jacket.....but I had some Spada Enforcer waterproof gloves and despite the claim that they were 100% waterproof they weren't even close......and others who had the same gloves echoed this finding.....so it soured my feelings towards Spada kit...... But someone with experience of that jacket may be along in a while..... Quote

That makes me feel a bit better as at the bmf I saw these gkloves and as I needed some waterproof ones I fell for these but couldn't find them in my size and when I did they were more expensive than list price so I settled for some oxford ones. On the other hand I have spada boots and they are brilliant very comfy and waterproof and tough Quote
maccy Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I have some spada trousers, they were good at first, however the stitching quality was shite and they have slowly fallen to bits. Its put me off spada Quote
fq-craigus Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Oh and I realised tonight I have some leather lightweight spada gloves for the dry days and they are nothing but great too. How ever my frank Thomas ones are naff and fell apart Quote
Rad Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I have a set of spada textiles and I can't fault them. I used them in rain only a few times. Mostly during my DAS in November. It stood up to a gargantuan rain, I was amazed trainer didn't call it off. Kept me warm and dry. Kept me safe too though it tore more then you'd think. It looked as if I almost lost my arm. Quote
