Managed to pass my IAM test yesterday...

Great fun.....lovely rides over a period of weeks....

I would recommend it to anyone who is interested but not everyone will be...

Mandy and I spoke with the IAM guys at the recent bike show at Meldreth.....they have an informal rideout every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, so we may head down there when we get back from our hols....

Don't spend enough time on a bike nowadays to be bothered.

It's certainly not for everybody....and why should it be....there are plenty of good riders out there. It's just a recognition of a certain standard of riding. I'm really pleased I did it, I've learnt a lot, yet I was perfectly happy riding as I was. I needed another challenge and now I need another...lol.

I will be consolidating what I've learnt over the last few months then I might take the next step to becoming an observer myself. I like helping people
