helenjp Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Went on my first country side ride out up tow law, my dad used to like biking round that area, found it difficult with the wind and bendy roads but still enjoyed it Quote
Tango Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I love bendy roads....... Glad you had a good run.......a tip for riding in strong wind....don't try to fight it.....try to stay relaxed..... Quote
helenjp Posted September 20, 2014 Author Posted September 20, 2014 I usually do but my dad put my at my pace today lol.. Learnt more today considering it's only my third time riding Quote
Devans Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Bendy roads get better the more you ride, once you learn how to flow through them. brake before a corner and roll into it, then accelerate out. it makes the bike more balanced. Quote
Who else but Quagmire Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Some good roads up that way, one of my favourites is up through Wolsingham and St Johns Chapel through to Hartside. Quote
