looking for the best recommended lock

Hi Guys,

Im currently in the process of searching for the best security products for bikes, I have my Chain sorted, also have my alarm chosen, Just need a good strong Lock and anchor. Does anybody have any in mind that they would recommend?

I would go for anything Thatcham or Secured by design rated. I use this by Mammoth

You can use it for both, but not all locks like that will go on all discs. The only universal, will fit all disc locks are like this

I think that kind of lock is fine for out and about, but at home I would want something beefier and that will help with your insurance premium.

Pragmasis is good stuff. Their www is security for bikes.com.

Anything that is Sold Secure Gold or Thatcham approved should be okay.
