biker down south Yorkshire - Rotherham

Just been sent 2 new dates for biker down in South Yorkshire.

I've booked on the 20th Nov course.

For anyone who doesn't know, it's a free 2 hours first aid course tailored for bikers as often we're first at accident scenes involving other bikers. Details here if anyone's interested. Usually only a small group each time so act fast

Been on this course at the fire station.

It was a interesting 2 hours only covers the very basics but does at least give you some practical experience.

Just watch out for the out of date biscuits! !

I've been a first aider for 12 years and I would recommend anyone who can to do a course like this.

Very good and worthwhile course. I have been working with Essex and Gloucester Biker down, I am also talking to Cheshire and South Yorkshire, for a while, and I have been invited to the national Fire Bike safety conference (which runs the biker down course) in November to meet the other teams.

I don't think it will be long before the Fire Bike safety teams take over from Bikesafe, especially as some are now losing their accreditation.

Enjoy, it is worthwhile.
