Guest Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Hey folksMy housemate is having trouble with his Honda CG 125 air filter. The metal cylinder the the filter wraps around is rusted, so chunks of rust are going directly into the carb, as the rust is on the inside of the filter. We've tried looking across the internet for a replacement part, but cant source one anywhere. What's the best thing to do? I've seen people using after market air filters connected directly to the carb, but is rain a problem here? As it would be just hanging off the side of the bike with no protection. Or is there something else we can do? Any help is really appreciated! Quote
Guest Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Here is an image of a similar air filter to give you an idea of the shape, however this one has an Oval end to it, whilst the one we need is round. http://i734.photobucket.com/albums/ww346/1978hondacg125/cg125/cg002.jpg Quote
