Tango Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Welcome to TMBF mate......pop over to the Newbies section and introduce yourself to the guys when you can..... The bike looks like a Honda CB450 K1 to me.......but a non-standard exhaust. Quote
Guest Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Thanks a lot, I found this version, I like it a lot:http://www.bikeexif.com/honda-cafe-racer-2 Quote
Tango Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Nice bike.......but the CB450 is quite old now and they are becoming rare......but there are plenty of other bikes around that can be turned into very nice cafe racers...... I'm currently working on a CB750, which I'm turning into a cafe racer...... Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 wasnt the 450 also known as the black bomber in its early days ? Quote
Tango Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Yep, I think you're right EAB.....the Black Bomber...... Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Beautiful bike! I want to do something similar with a 125. I'm always curious where the battery is relocated with the cafe racers though! Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Beautiful bike! I want to do something similar with a 125. I'm always curious where the battery is relocated with the cafe racers though! Wherever you can find an appropriate place for it!Most cases, it will fit under the seat in front of the rear mudguard / Hugger just to the rear of the frame down tubes. Most of the fun (as Tango will attest to), is building the bits and peices together in the frame. Chopping and welding is the name of the game.Anyhoo - enjoy your project and don't forget to post the pictures. Quote
