Stu Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 it depends how mechanically minded you are! My mate has changed one and he is shit it is an easy job Quote
Tango Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Yes...... Just note the routing as you take the old one out.......avoid taking the new one through a route that will cause a sharp bend in it.......and also make sure it doesn't foul the steering or get pulled tight when going from lock-to-lock..... Paul-Kent Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I taped the lever end of the new cable to the engine end of the old one and gently pulled it through, once it was disconnected of course Quote
jamesrb90 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Okay great ill get one ordered. Yeah I like the idea of attaching it to the old and gently pull it through. That way ill know it aint bent ect. Thanks peps Quote
jamesrb90 Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 dont forget OE yamaha parts not cheap shit Will everyone say yamaha for the cable?? Quote
Stu Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 probably not! but I wouldnt risk it with a cheap one due to the quality is 99% of the tie sub standard and could leave you stranded when it snaps Quote
