Hi all

Am not going to say when test is as don't want the added pressure, so no asking :-)

Had first training for it today. I did mess up as was in wrong lane to where I was meant to go and switched. I know, I shouldn't have done that :-/

The only other thing I was doing wrong and have presumably always been doing wrong is when turning right at a roundabout I was ending up in left lane to early. He wanted me to stay in right lane longer. Any advice on this would be helpful :-)

Thanks

Switching lanes is fine so long as it's legal to do so, that doing so doesn't cause other roadusers to have to change direction or speed, and that you do it safely.

Right turn at roundabout - Signal right on approach and use the right hand lane and stay on the inside of the roundabout until you pass the last exit that is just before your turn. Check mirrors, left shoulder check and signal left to confirm your intentions to exit the roundabout.

Good luck with the Mod2 Shirl..... 8-)

As for positioning on a roundabout, ask your instructor his advice.......that's what you're paying him for.....
