I like the idea of this but i'm not too sure on it yet, mainly because of the price.

I wonder how far tech will come in regard to the 360 cams in say a year or so, because if i'm correct they are relatively new to the hobby/enthusiast end of the market.

Price is only slightly higher than the top end action cameras already so I don't think it's too bad

Only one I can find online is £280

Latest GoPro is £290 (not that I'd spend that on one personally)

Drift Ghost is £200

Love the idea but where to mount it? In order to see all round it'd have to be on your head but then it may well miss most stuff anyway because it doesn't film down that far.

Valid point. The GoPro is extremely expensive.

As for mounting points, i can't see it being too useful on a bike, perhaps mounted to a car's roof would be better.

I have a go pro and just paid 168 quid for a brand new ghost HD, would like one of these on a track day, mounted to the rear of the seat unit you could watch yourself as you corner and also the bike behind and as they pass you or vice versa.

Agreed on the waiting for a year though, there will be some smart stuff to become available im sure :D
