Guest Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I was allowing the time for Joeman to answer but old age has got to his eyes apparently lol. It's mounted to his fairing, not sure of the brand. Quote
Guest Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 It's mounted to his fairing, not sure of the brand. If it's the same one as before it's the Mobius action cam Quote

Joeman Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Just noticed this thread!!Yes is a mobius action cam. The mount is stuck to the lower side faring with 3m sticky pads.Impretty impressed with these little cameras. The downside is that they need to be mounted horizontally, but ive modified a spare to turn the lens 90degrees to mount it vertically as a helmet cam. I'll upload some pics at some point. I think it might be the ultimate budget helmet cam!! Quote

Joeman Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 On the right is how the camera is supposed to mounted - horizontally, but that looks stupid sticking out of the side of a helmet. So i opened one up, chopped it about a bit, and rotated the lens 90 degrees so that i can mount the camera vertically to the side of my helmet:What i have now is a nice small, inconspicuous camera that doesnt stick out too far - not like the riders you see with a bloody great gopro sticking out the side of their helmets! Tankbag Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Ah I see now, good job not sure I could trust myself opening up one of those & not suddenly have springs switches & ball bearings flying everywhere ! Quote
Fleck Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 My mobius has got the super capacitor in it so needs a power supply. It's on the handlebar via the mirror mount, some of the engine noise comes through the frame and makes it sound like a dragster Quote
