RicKsTa Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hi all,I'm in a bit of a dilemma.. I'm going to fit braided brake lines this weekend and obviously I'm going to need to drain the brake fluid. The problem I have is that last year I did a full flush of the brakes and replaced with new fluid. Since doing it the bike has only been rode once and has been stored in my garage the rest of the time. Now... Do I just re-use the fluid that's in it seen as it's pretty much brand new, or should I buy more? I know fluid deteriorates but would this make any difference? Thanks in advanceRick Quote
Glorian Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Depends on what you use tbh.. if it's DoT 4 that stuff can be pretty cheap anyway may aswell just replace it..If you re-use it.. I don't know if it would do anything bad but why skrimp such a small amount. New fluid for some new lines Quote
