Was gonna say.. Sarcastic much fella?

Better off with heated grips (dr bike?) they're about £25 and much easier as the bike powers them not a battery. Or bark busters which will reduce wind chill

Seems to me an odd time of year to be considering heated grips or gloves.. I 'do' have heated grips, but haven't used them since the last round of frosty mornings. Im still wearing my winter gloves though - mainly because I have plastic surgery on my right hand and so am particularly badly affected by the cold. another few weeks and they can go into storage until the autumn. I 'do' have bark busters on the 800 though.. having had similar items on the GS for donkeys years I 'know' how effective these can be at reducing wind chill. they also help keep the rain off to an extent.

Personally l think that every bike sold in the northern hemisphere should come fitted with heated grips as standard. I've been out on the bike when it's been that cold l couldn't pull on the levers, on reflection it was bloody stupid and dangerous. The first thing l fit on changing my bike is heated grips

I have bad circulation in my hands, so they are always cold.

Using a bike without them, even in the summer, my hands can sometimes stiffen up.

I've used heated grips for 2/3 years and never had an issue
