DillHD Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Iv'e got a supermoto style bike and havnt ridden it for few month and last week I noticed the left front fork is leaking to the point where itd be leaving small puddles in the floor, bear in mind its a 63 plate so surely they can't have gone? I've tried putting paper in the seals and running it round to try and get any dirt out but its still leaking, it seems to be leaking less but its only been 1 day since.Anyway I just wanna know is it safe to ride & is there anything else I could try/do? A few bit of fluid seems to have gotten out over the weeks Quote
fq-craigus Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 If they are leaking that bad you dont want to risk any getting on your discs.Age doesnt matter, its dirt that gets trapped in the seal from the road ect, being anal with your forks is the only way to help prevent this by wiping them over. Or getting fork seal guards but even they are only half ecfective. Quote
megawatt Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Don't fook about , just replace your fork seals and dust seals.!!! Quote
