I've got a YZF600R Thundercat and the mirrors just aren't long enough for me to see as much as I would like behind.


They have a flat head hex bolt fixing into captive nuts attached to the front subframe. The hole spacing, center to center is (as close as I can tell) 47mm and the stem length from mirror to mounting plate is about 75mm.


If anyone can help me find a bike that has the same fixing dimensions but a longer stem I would really appreciate it so I can maybe source some mirrors from eBay.

you should be able to get mirror extenders which are basically like a thick base that you put between the mirror and the bike

I've seen those, but they're a bit ugly. Thanks anyway.

How about bar-end mirrors?.......got them on the Speedy and I really rate them..... 8-)
