My suit is getting uncomfortably tight and for a while I've been thinking of getting a new one until I found a website of an alterations service.

Is this something anyone here has had done? I'm looking to have the chest opened up around 3-4 inches.

Looks like it will cost £80-£120 which seems more than fair as I imagine it can be labour intensive.

Just looking for experiences or recommendations!

Been hitting the gym hard lately! Chest shoulders and back are filling out and my suit was already a tight fit to start. Plus I want to fit my back protector in which is impossible atm.

I'd buy a new suit but I've hardly worn this and I'm going to lose shed loads on it plus the cost of a new one probably exactly the same suit just larger.

If I can get it modified for £100ish il be over the moon! Just can't see where they would expand it, but I need to speak to the pro's about that.

There's a guy up Westgate Road who does seat recovering and also leather / textile clothing repairs too. He repaired the wife and mine's textile clothing after we knocked off on the way to the Isle of Wight a couple of years ago. His prices were pretty good and the workmanship was very good.

Maybe drop in to see him and he might be able to help you out.

Excellent cheers scoot.

As it turns out, I think he's a mate of my boss. Might try and get over tomorrow and see what can be done.
