Dynamo_Delboy Posted June 19, 2015 Share Posted June 19, 2015 Got a wee problem with my 1989 ZX10.My fuel gauge doesnt seem to work too good.Fill the tank the gauge goes to full, after around 80-90 the gauge shows empty even though i still have around another 90 miles of fuel before need to switch to reserve.Any ideas what could be the problem with the gauge?Also my temp gauge doesnt work at all. eastanglianbiker Posted June 20, 2015 Share Posted June 20, 2015 temp gauge could well be the sensor that is normally located around the thermostat somewhere if you find it pull the wire off and put it to earth see if gauge goes right up then you know its the sensor that needs replacing and as for the fuel gauge it sounds like the float and arm that senses the amount of fuel is having resistor problems and might need replacing Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
