fullscreenaging Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 You don't drive a motorbike, you RIDE a motorbike. [emoji12]It's not CC, it's KW. I can't remember, but someone will along soon who will know. Quote
Ricky Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 You can ride up to 47BHP or up to 94BHP restricted back to 47BHPAfter you've passed MOD 1 and MOD 2 you don't need to do any more tests until you've held your A2 license for 2 years when you can do your unrestricted tests, or you can stay with your A2 and stay restricted. Phooey Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 The A2 licence restricts you to motorcycles of up to 35kW (47bhp), and you must take your test on a bike of more than 20kW (27bhp). This is open to 19-year-olds and older. This means you could ride a 650cc or even 750cc as long as it is restricted to below 47bhp. There are furrther rules thought like a max 94bhp unrestriced. So my ZZR600 for example could not be ridden.Suzuki SV650, CB500 or Hornet 600 are examples. Quote
Ricky Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 250?300?They're the only two ninjas I think you can ride on an A2 license.Neither of them need restricting Quote

Glad I got mine out the way when restriction came off after 2 years automatically. Quote
