Piaggio Typhoon 50CC 2000 | Engine Problem

Hi, at 7.30AM (28/09/2015), I tried starting my moped but unfortunately it didn’t start, so I just parked it back home. Later that day (16.00PM), I changed the ‘Spark Plug’ with a new one and it worked. I then went 8 Miles with it to School. While driving to School I realized loads of white smoke was coming out the exhaust. After 4 hours, I wanted to return home (22.00PM 28/09/2015) but unfortunately it didn’t start. I tried Kick Starting but still didn’t start. Lights were all working fine.

Problems that I realized:

- During the 4 hour being parked all of the Oil went away, don’t know where.

- Oil leaking above the exhaust.

- Engine making a chocking noise when wanting to start.

- The Spark Plug end was Black with some oil/fuel on it.

- White Smoke coming out the exhaust while driving to School (8Miles)

Could someone please tell me what the problem might be if they have any idea.

This morning at 12.00AM, (29/09/2015) I tried starting it again and it worked but loads of white smoked. I didn't ride it, I decided to push it to a nearby garrage to see what they say.

Could someone please tell me what the problem might be if they have any idea, so that I could replace the part myself to avoid high costs.

Sounds like too much oil is getting in - could be your pump is stuck on max.

if its water cooled white smoke could be a sign of head gasket but if 2 stroke it could be to much oil but that would normally be blue smoke as its oil based burning
