pauly Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 If you're going to mount a camera on your bike (for safety/insurance), and it needs to go on the side of the bike, would it be best to mount it to the left or right of the bike? Obviously either can see stuff up ahead, but can only see whats going on to the side that its mounted. Left is going to see people pulling out of junctions on your side of the road or turning right across your path; Right is going to catch people from junctions to the right. Which is likely to catch more incidents or maybe more importantly more likely to catch the type of incident where fault could be hard to prove?cheers Quote
Joeman Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Mine is mounted on the right. Still gives reasonable views of junctions to the left. Quote
Pete Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 If it's mounted far forward enough and the viewing angle is decent (GoPro has a very wide viewing angle) then you'll find it'll capture what you need on both sides. Quote
