Hi guys

I have a cbt and have been riding a 125 for 4 years. Im just about to purchase the Peugeot Tweet and the site mentions an A1 Licence. The dealer says i can ride on a cbt. Is this correct??

Hello! I'm pretty sure a1 is covered by the cbT

The following conditions will apply:

learner riders of mopeds (category AM) and light motorcycles (category A1) with a CBT certificate can ride unaccompanied on the public road as long as the CBT certificate is valid or until they have passed their moped or motorcycle test

I'm hoping if you've been riding for 4 years you've done at least 2 cbt courses ;)

If it's a 125 then you don't need to do anything else. You just need a CBT! Unless you want to carry pillions, ride on the motorway, or just want to lose the L plates.

As above.

The A1 licence simply allows you to remove your L plates, carry pillions and go on the motorway.
