Stu Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 I would contact oxford and see what they say! it might be a known problem also check connections to the battery also check how much charge you are getting at cold temps too as it could be a charging problem Quote
mealexme Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 If its a know problem, let me know because I have the same issue. I just figured it was a loose connection somewhere, but its not been cold enough for me to bother to trace the wires though. Quote
A Heavy Sake Jar Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 I've emailed Oxford explaining the situation. I'll post their reply on here when I get it. Quote
fq-craigus Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Mine work spot on, is your bike charging as it should when really cold? As they are designed to switch off when voltage drops below expected Quote
A Heavy Sake Jar Posted January 30, 2016 Author Posted January 30, 2016 FQ- its a brand new battery. works fine, i had it tested before fitting Quote
Stu Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 The battery is irrelevant to be honest its the charging circuit you need to check if the charging circuit is only putting out say 12.4v when cold then this would put the grips in to battery saving mode Quote
fq-craigus Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 FQ- its a brand new battery. works fine, i had it tested before fitting I didn't mention the battery. Check the bike is charging correct Quote
