New bike new chain

Hi. New to here and owning bikes after long spell off. Any tips how to tighten chain on a new 65 plate Triumph Sprint GT 1050?? Thx

Hi,


I think the Sprint has an eccentric axle adjuster. You basically have to slacked the clamp bolt, then rotate the adjuster.

To do it correctly you will need a manual or the owners handbook often shows how to adjust the chain.


Nice bike, I ma thinking of one for my next bike. Let me know how you get on with it.

I dislike eccentric adjusters, as I discovered yonks ago on a GPZ900R.

They alter the bike's handling by raising or lowering the back end.

Could you honestly tell the difference of that very small change?
