Phooey
Now that I've changed the colour on my bike I need to update the V5 but I can't find it. Does that mean I'll have to pay £25 to get a new one?
Six30
Yup, unless you separated log book and can find the green slip (v5c2 )

Six30
Hmmm, not sure, it will probably have a different reference number on it, you can apply online, just try it, it can only say no

Does that mean I'll have to pay £25 to get a new one? Has it been painted, or wrapped? The latter doesn't need to be notified as it's not a permanent change. Arwen
If no other info has changed, request a duplicate. This costs nothing. Then you can send that away to change the colour. If you have changed address however, £25 charge. I just has to pay to get one for my car. Very annoying as I didn't lose it, it never arrived from them when I changed address! Phooey
Has it been painted, or wrapped? The latter doesn't need to be notified as it's not a permanent change. That's the problem BOGOF. It has been wrapped but initially I was going to have it hydrodipped and the twat who had the fairings for three months sprayed them all black (well, if what he did constitutes spraying) and then I got them wrapped. So the original colours are no longer there.
