whitedevil Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 It will have large washers between the airbox and carbs, inside the rubbers. Just take them out. My ex500 had them when i bought it the bike wouldnt go over 90mph and had no power band. Much nicer when they were out. Quote

eastanglianbiker Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 now its had a decent run (providing you have been sitting letting it tick over for ages again) pull a spark plug out and check the colour of it to see how its running it might need a bit of adjusting but you also have to rev them fairly well to get them going if i remember correctly Quote

I hadn't tuch it since because it was running like a gem.its no good pulling them after its been sat idling it needs to have hada run so its getting fuel fed into the engine from the main jets not the slow running ones hence giving it a run down the road for the mot or something similar and then check plug colour Quote

eastanglianbiker Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 why not use the money to pass your test then get the pleasure of riding something instead of getting someone else to ride anything over 125 for you Quote
