pmkw Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Hi.I'm new to this, so apologies if this subject has been covered. I've just been given a 1986 RD125 frame, inc bars, forks, swing arm, wheels. No engine or panels. I'm hoping to restore the look off the RD with a modern engine, possibly 4 stroke, and clocks etc. First off, is this possible. Secondly, what engine options could I go for? Thanks in advance. Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 first off you would need to check heights of modern engines compared to the gap in the frame where its meant to sit being a 2 stroke originally the engine would not of been as tall also need to be fairly good at making up new engine mounts possibly welding and electrics....................just for starters then try insuring it as a modified bike Quote
