Disable DATATOOL Duo Immobiliser

Hmm this is worrying! The speed four has a datatool system 3 installed. It's working fine but it's very sensitive. Once I pass I'll have the bike parked on the street and I'm worried it'll constantly be going off. I don't want to turn it off as that kinda defeats the purpose of having a blaring alarm...

It's a system 3 I've got too and yes it is sensitive but I've never had it go off on its own, that said I keep mine in the garage. The main problems I have are it has a mind of its own sometimes when I try to enable/disable non standard features, like service mode for example

Mine goes in and out of service mode no problem with one of the fobs. The other is a bit temperamental. Will see about turning the sensitivity down a bit.

You can turn the sensitivity down on them

Just read through the manual and can't see a way to turn the sensitivity down..

There's no sensitivity setting on a s3 but I have heard of someone who mounted a layer of foam between the alarm box and the bike which helped.

Have you had any problems with your s4. My pal has one on his Strom and he's happy with it.

I had no problems at all with the S4 or the S3 both on previous bikes

I have no alarm on the current bike

The only thing the alarms did do was go in to battery saving mode if left a long time and not on a charger then you had the set the alarm off by turning the ignition on then turn the alarm off

New to Forum, I have just bought a bike with a datatool Duo Alarm, which comes with 2 fobs,

Problem is, only 1 fob works. Any one know how to program the second fob..

Cheers

Hello!

Both my fobs to the immobilizer stopped working and I haven't had much joy of this installment so I'd like to disable it. All the wires are black and I am slightly worried I'll make things worse. So I am glad I found this forum and hope you guys are willing to take time helping me out. My bike is a Suzuki GSF 600 Bandit
