Joeman Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Anyone else having problems with Sky+ box locking up with blue screen and failed recording??Seems the latest software update has shafted my year old 2TB box just after its a year old... good timing Sky!I've forced a software update, rebuilt the planner, only thing not tried is a factory reset as that will delete all my recordings..Hate Sky with a passion.. this might be the last straw!! Joeman Posted June 16, 2016 Author Posted June 16, 2016 Finally got fed up with the sky box tonight. Called them up, it's 13days out of warranty so they tried to charge me to replace it!!Wasnt having that so after some strong words from me and a quick word with the manager they said they'd send an engineer round to take a look and i told them it had to be a weekend...No engineers in my area available on weekends until July!!So I said they'd best just send me a replacement box for free or lose a customer there and then as I as 13 days out of contract.. a quick word with the manager again and I have a free 2TB box on its way.. took 40mins of my time I'll never get back.. why do they make life so difficult??
