Top box for v strom 650 2012

Hi guys, I'm looking for a top box for my v strom. I'm after a reasonable sized box and prefer the squarer adventure style boxes and think this will suit the bike more...

But... is it me... or are top boxes just a silly price!

Was looking at the kappa garda or givi trekker boxes... but at about 200 plus they aren't cheap.

Is there a cheaper alternative?

I have the givi e22 box and would like something similar.

Record flight cases can be had for small money if you don't mind a bit of adaptation.

Various ex-MOD cases come up quite regularly at specialist auctions too.

I've taken the plunge thanks to amazon's warehouse clearance on prime day. Picked to a second hand trekker. Still pigging expensive. Thanks for the suggestions Mr Fro
