Hi guys,

As you know I'm getting a bike at the end of the month, so I was looking into gear.

Could you give me your opinion in the following jackets for Scotland (Edinburgh-Dunfermline daily commute)?

I was looking at this jacket and was wondering why the

Which seems to be the older model, has a higher price than the

Which is the current model scott has in their website.

If the distinct 1 pro is better, the discount is even bigger so it would be quite a good buy

The contender is the following which I Can get for around 320 at the store after the discount for buying a bike,

Is it a good enough jacket? From what I can see is not laminated gore tex, it just has a gore tex linen, would that be better than a waterproof RST? OR the above mentioned Scot laminated Gore tex?

Any call between these 3?

Just to play devils advocate, if your serious about a commuter suit...

I would seriously consider one of these or similar...

Although not the prettiest thing they are useful. I have a Spada all in one that is great when I am going on courses etc I can change out of biker gear in 2 minutes. Iused to do it every day at the station really handy...

Hi one sea,

Sorry for the delay, I have been in holidays without Internet.

I'm not that keen on one pieces as sometimes I could want to wear on or the other. Thinking in the onset I posted, any tips?

Also anyone else can give some feedback? Thanks
