I-AM-THOR Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 In the past I have only used solid steel ones. I need a new one for my new home. I have seen one in halfords, looks good and has good reviews. My concern that a large portion is plastic and my worry is that it can be smashed and made easy for thiefs, should I be away. What are people's opinion on them. Need one quick as the bike isn't secure atm Quote
Hoggs Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Can you not just secure your bike to your hammer? Quote
Guest Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Can you not just secure your bike to your hammer? Who would steal thor's bike?Modern plastics can be made to any resistance, just happens fairings have none...Is it steel reinforced? Quote
Adam Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Is this the one? http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-lights-locks/bike-locks/magnum-plus-magrok-ground-anchor" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; If so the plastic is just a cover so the hook is flush and safe to drive and walk over. Quote
