I have an old 86 trx250 fourtrax that I have been restoring. The other day I cleaned the carburator out but didnt take anything much apart. When i put it back in and turned on the fuel it all came pissing out of the overflow valve and wouldn't stop. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum

Sounds like the float is stuck open and just allowing the fuel to flow through

have you set the float height too?

Never worked on carburator before so I wouldn't know how.

You might want to invest in a workshop manual and find the settings for the float height

Hopefully spanner will be along soon as he is a good source of manuals and may be able supply you with a free downloadable one
