Never worked on carburator before so I wouldn't know how.

I have an old 86 trx250 fourtrax that I have been restoring. The other day I cleaned the carburator out but didnt take anything much apart. When i put it back in and turned on the fuel it all came pissing out of the overflow valve and wouldn't stop. Any help is appreciated. Cheers
