Hi folk,

I am getting on with sorting out my Fazer around 98/99 year, and thanks again to all those who have helped me and pointed me in the right direction so far.

The bike is a gold coloured model and I need to get some paint to patch it up here and there. However most of the webpages I have been on don't list my colour, on the colour ID plate on the bike it list a number 5DM4-070 and a letter D and according to a chart the shade is DOURADO. Can anyone tell me if this is indeed the gold shade I have and where can I get some for touch up use?

Regards to all.

Bill.

RS Bikepaint.

You may be able to find the paint yourself on their website.. But if not, then contact them directly.

http://www.rsbikepaint.com/en-gb/contact.php They normally reply pretty quickly

Quick update.with time on my hands, searching has come up with the following.

The code you list as a paint code seems to be the model year and country code. According to this site http://foc-u.co.uk/?topic=34.0

5DM4 = 1999

070 = UK

The word Dourado means Gold or Golden in Portuguese.

I would include all these codes and words in the email to RS and see what they come up with. They're very good.
