Gray Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Hi,Not been biking much recently however now that spring is almost in the air it's time to get some little jobs done.I need a new chain and sprockets and am also thinking of changing the tyres. My bike is a GSX750F-X (1999). Will the DID Chain and Sunstar Sprocket Kit be good for my bike?My current tyres are Dunlop Sportmax.Front – 120/70 ZR 17 58WRear – 150/70 ZR 17 69WWill the Michelin Pilot 4 Road Tyres be a good upgrade/replacement?thanksGraham Quote
Stu Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Yes and yes Although I would be more inclined to go for renthal sprockets Quote
Guest Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 DiD chains are decent. I have never tried Sunstar sprockets. JT sprockets are adequate but I'm going to look for a higher quality alternative next time.PR3s or PR4s are excellent all round tyres. Especially in the wet. Quote
MotoTrackr Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 I've always gone with DiD chains. Never been dissapointed. Quote
