ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 It just seems a bit strange cos that petcock should be attached to the tank, not to the body, what year is this bike again Quote

seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 TIMR I Neva even noticed that cable tie clue to what how fuked I am with this thing now lol Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Will look into it again, but I think what you got there is a bit of a bodge up, maybe you could ask the guy who put it together how he sorted the vac pipes,it shouldn't take too much thinking to get round it , but its all about those vac pipes from the carbs, somewhere along the line there's a vac pipe not connected to the right position, the front and rear carbs are creating vac but somewhere its getting destroyed keep trying and I'll look into it and see if I can come up with the answer Quote
TimR Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 TIMR I Neva even noticed that cable tie clue to what how fuked I am with this thing now lol Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Where spanner says that the tap should be tank mounted and seems like a alternative petcock/fuel tap has been used . seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 I have tired getting in touch with the guy no joy I need to get my other fone fixed to get his address an yeah I agree one of those is wrong just witch one an where I thought an think air2 has something to do with it like an thank you so much Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Try this, if you've got a length of fuel line, take off the fuel line from the pump to the carbs, attach the pipe to the out let of the pump, put the free end into a petrol can/bottle , turn over the engine and check for fuel coming out, if you get fuel out of the pipe then vac pipes are working and its something else, which can be looked into Quote
seanburn899 Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Will be the morra will get more Fule./line clips for some strange reason got that sinking feeling it's the back half or vac side where the sliders an Dias are at one point was thinking I had put the crabs back wrong but cheeked with pics an all that that it was OK kinda wish I could cheat Fule straight on to crabs have the vacs drawing on the back of carbs. Make it all work simple lol Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk Quote
ThePhatomfart Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 If that fuel comes out the pump ,your vacuum side should be alright Quote
