Finbike Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hello from Hamburg. Question about honda cbx750f 1986 cylinder firing order. Can anyone tell me in what order should be the coil leads connected? I cant get the engine run properly? I was somehow under impression they should be firing cylinders 1&4, 2&3. The leads are not numbered. Quote
Stu Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hi and welcome to the forumThe majority of bike fire in 1,3,4,2 Quote
Finbike Posted September 24, 2017 Author Posted September 24, 2017 Hi Stu thanks for reply. The coil one fires 1and 3 , second coil 2 and 4? Cylinders are from left to right? Quote
oldgrump Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Hi, Firing order on 99% of inline four's is, 1-2-4-3, and the coils fire, 1 and 4 ,and, 2 and 3, which is what your Honda is, ok, Motorcycle engines run in banks of two's, two up, and two down. Quote
Tango Posted September 24, 2017 Posted September 24, 2017 Deffo....1 coil fires plugs 1 & 4 and the other coil fires 2 & 3....... So it sparks on the compression and exhaust strokes on all cylinders..... Quote
