Shipping bikes to Southern Spain

Apologies if this has been covered previously but a few of us are thinking of shipping bikes (i.e. the light non-touring variety) to Southern Spain from near Lincoln and flying down. Anyone done this and advice on reasonably priced services?

Never done it but did look in to it and I think the price was about 800 quid return for the bike

Some friends did track days at Almeria for a few days. I can ask what it costs?

I looked at some truck service, but on top of the price you had to get it to Luton...or Peterborough...or Lossiemouth or wherever they were, I forget. Whatever, it seemed like an expensive shag when what I like to do is actually ride my bike. I understand why others want to do it, but concluded it wasn’t for me.

I transport my bike in a Transit van, so I don't do long motorway miles and I'm good if the weather is bad. I get the bike out where it is dry and sunny.
