Light Quadricycle - anyone done mod1/2 in one?

My eldest has reached the age of 16 and is making noises about transport.

One of the possible options is a renault twizy. In europe they sold a version which falls into the AM category. At this point I'm in the idle pondering stage, but a quick search suggests that you can do a test in an AM class vehicle which is the same as the moped test

I know a moped is the default choice but I'm just looking at other possibilities. We're in a small village and all her friends are 5 to 10 miles away on country roads, if she takes a test she can carry a passenger and a microcar gives a bit more road presence than a moped.

Anyone any experiences?

not done a test in one But twizzy are fun . Quirky but for a get about i like them .

if you do look into a used one .. check the 12v battery is in good condition they are prone to failure .

plus they look ridiculous/hilarious on back of a recovery truck
