Ah good to know that's normal. Didn't realise about the gasket. It didn't sound like it was blowing or anything, so that's good.

Yea I'm warming it up quite a bit, ridden it up and down my road, it seems to drive and pull fine. Haven't taken it on a longer ride yet, or topped it up with fuel myself. I got my CBT tomorrow, so hopefully ill be able to insure and get it on the road properly within the next couple of weeks.

That's probably the best thing to do , get it out on the road and get a hundred miles on it before the weather gets too bitter. It just needs the cobwebs blowing away .
