skyrider Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 if the bike has only been stood a few months with the fuel in the tank it still should be ok and not have gone off, have you tried starting the bike Quote
Alan6770 Posted March 6, 2019 Author Posted March 6, 2019 No cos didn't want to take any tank debris if any through etc...I've now drained cleaned tank, and ready to add fresh fuel, but wanted to ask if any other things to check, to enable a no problem start-up..Thanks for your reply... Quote
skyrider Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 right so you should certainly be ok now then nothing like making sure Quote
Alan6770 Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Yes I've finally put fresh fuel in and she started up on the forth kick, sounds good as a125cc goes, but one problem is the battery doesn't seem to be getting a charge up. So any ideas/tips to help sort out the problem would be greatly appreciated... Quote
Guest Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 but one problem is the battery doesn't seem to be getting a charge up... How do you know? Have you checked voltage? Quote
xMachina Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Yes, getting a charge and taking a charge a two different things. If its been left for a few months its possible the voltage dropped too low and the battery has sulfated and now won't take a charge. Quote
