Ross Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Has anyone here ever completed the Mongrol Rally by the Adventureists on a bike. Onvsiouly its has to be 125cc or lower. What was your experience? How much did you end up spending? Me and a couple of mates are wanting to do it Quote
gogs01 Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 The MONGOL Rally is an intercontinental car rally beginning in Europe and ending in Ulan Ude, Russia. Also open to bikes, but it looks like you would have to be truly mad ! Good luck in finding somebody on this forum who has done that.Perhaps you might be better with Nathan Millward's Garbage Run, sometimes referred to as a Mongrel Rally ?Nathan Millward has organised different versions of his Garbage run, all designed to be adventures on cheap bikes, avoiding main roads, wild camping and basically a challenge to have as much fun as possible as cheaply as possible. There might be someone on this forum who has done a Garbage run ? ..... Ross Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 Hey, The first one your refdering to is the one im on about they accept cars and bikes cars have to to be a 1litre or less. They will accept 1.2 but you need a good reason . They also accept bikes under 125cc but ideally they want you to donit on a scooter. Inread a story online about a couple of lads doing it on monkey bikes Ill check out that garbage run sounds like a right laughThanks! Quote
Guest Richzx6r Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 That garbage run sounds like it could be fun, might have to have a look at that Quote
