i'd go for looks, if it looks good you ride it better 8)

I can recall some points in my life when this theory has been flawed

Looks for sure.

then a little (tiny)bit of common sense kicks in and you consider the whole package.........and then buy it anyway regardless

Im a yamaha man so the next bike is a yamaha thats for certain, id buy a bike on looks first and foremost as id never probably use the bike to anywhere near its full potential.

Gotta be a sports bike as well :)

I put look on the basis that I'll never use a bike to it's full potential.

Kinda same with women

Ooooo handbags at fifty paces Mr!

I'm a yammy girl, but lately I've been having lustful thoughts about the new Gixer and I've always had a soft spot for Duccies. It's ALLLLLLLLLLL about the looks.

um, none of those :(

I got my bike because of the riding position. Fazer - more upright - My arthritky neck and wrists won't allow me to ride a sports bike for long periods.

So youre saying that a Fazer is for the old, infirm, arthritic person out there? Hmmmmm Keithy?

I find it hard to argue with that I am afraid!! :(

I am a Yamaha man myself but it is the fun factor and basic requirement factor.

I would prefer an R1 but the Fazer is a better all round bike. :D

Looks are important , luckily not my wife's first requirement!! :D

Recon if it does the job required is the most important, i.e. Tourer Sports Bike etc.

Not to fussed bout anything else, I'd look good on anything, even a Beemer 8)
