Pbassred Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 I measured my sag (40 front, 44 rear) but the rear preload adjustment isn't how or where I expected to find it. I'll wait for the heynes manual to arrive in a couple of days. Does adjusting the preload change the seat height? Ideally I'd like to drop 20mm but anything would be welcome.Next post could well be about how to drop seat height! Quote
TimR Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Suspension Sag will change seat height marginally but don't use it in that context as it will affect the handling especially to lower 20mm You may need a lowering kit and depending on your bike how this is doneSone have sculpted seats Others use extended) shortened suspension links .Others use shortened suspensionSag could require softer springs.... ..Welcome to the minefield Quote

Pbassred Posted January 2, 2020 Author Posted January 2, 2020 Not sure what year yours is but for referencehttps://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorc ... NrEALw_wcBCheers. Mine is a 2011 so just out side that ( have messaged them). I have the original owner's address so I might drop him a line to see what mods he might have dome to it. It looks like he cared for the bike. He didn't ride it often (>1000miles/year) but when he did he used all the tyres! Quote
