Beans Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 It is interesting. I did think that the internal combustion engine was in no one's plans for the future so that was an insight. Do MAG still protest against mandatory helmet laws, that's always been something that I found hard to agree with, seems like a bit too far with the rights of the individual Quote

dynax Posted February 5, 2020 Author Posted February 5, 2020 One item that caught my attention is the proposal of the A1 cat licence to be granted to full car licence holders, this would open up biking to more people as a more cost effective form of transport, yes people can do it now via completing and gaining a CBT cert, but then you either carry on with CBT forever or pass a test, but there are plenty of riders who are happy to ride 125's and i am one of those people, one thing i would like though is to up the power limit, Lexmoto have released a 250cc 17hp bike https://www.lexmoto.co.uk/models/LJ250-3V, which currently falls under the A2 category, it would be a great scenario if the A1 cat was upped to 250cc at say 18-20 hp, which would make it more suited to more people who just want to commute or don't want or need a big HP bike, it would be great to see how many people would be happy and content to ride upto 250cc if this was an available option Quote
